FOOD // Shift
Shift is currently researching a project looking at food and its relationship to environment, poverty and health, particularly long-term, chronic and/or autoimmune conditions. Kim Simpson will lead the project working with a range of experts working in each of these areas as well as collaborating with some key artists. The R&D stage of this project will run until end 2015 with a view to presenting Work in Progress in November 2015. A final piece ready for presentation will be created by end 2016.
This project also aims to embody and demonstrate effective working methods to support individuals with complex disabilities, particularly hidden ones, and will seek to work with these individuals wherever possible.
